The Matchlock Arquebus Page
Anna - Here is the Matchlock Arquebus that I bought from Historic Enterprises. The barrel is a .615 smoothbore and is typical of the arms from the late 1400's-early 1500's. The Matchlock mechanism was an improvement over the Serpentine Lock.
